Sir Scott McDaniel

FAQ for Scott and team

How did you get started in doing art?

I don't remember. I do remember my family being very supportive of me. My Father still has a drawing I did at about age 5 or 6 on his wall.

How about music?

Jerry Meloche loaned me a Hofner bass and Fender bassman amp on a whim. Next thing I knew I bought a Rickenbacker 4001 and an Acoustic amp and I was off at full speed.

Basses?

Rickenbackers (v63 in seafoam, '86 4001 in jetglo, 4003s8 eight string in fire engine red, 4003s5 five string in Midnight Blue), Thunderbird, Hamers, Dean and custom 12 string basses. And of course, the doghouse, upright bass. And a few Fenders

 Computer Games?

I answered an ad in the newspaper (remember those?). It asked: "Do you like drawing dragons and spaceships/" Hey who doesn't? I was in and spent the next 18 years making games.
